If you have never heard of Laetrile B17 it’s because the Medical establishment has been fighting against the promotion and use of it for being a direct threat to their trillion dollar cancer criminal enterprise.  Those who dared risk their life and lively hood to use and defend it have met untimely death or recrimination in the most extreme and barbaric manner.  Those who today continue their legacy are mostly family members or operate a clinic in Mexico out of the reach of their persecution.  The successful use and legacy of Laetrile (Amygdalin) go back to the 1830’s when first discovered in France and later in 1840’s documented in successful treatment of cancer with patients in Russia.  But not until the early 1900’s do scientific studies and reports challenging early beliefs of cancer therapy start to appear in prestigious international medical journals.

Overview

Amygdalin is a naturally occurring chemical compound found in many plants, most notably in the seed pits of apricots, bitter almonds, apples, peaches, cherries and plums.  First popularized by a  cancer free Hunza tribe in Pakistan in their daily habit of chewing Apricot pits for medicinal benefit.  Throughout history the Hunza are famous for healthy longevity over 100 years old.   In 1952 Amygdalin was finally semi-synthesized and patented under the name Laetrile.   Today our medicinal compound is extracted directly from Apricot pits and called vitamin B17 even though the vitamin has never applied for formal designation.  For the most complete and authoritative treatise available on Laetrile B17 we recommend the book by G Edward Griffin called WORLD WITHOUT CANCER that can be easily found on Amazon or bookstores.  This book offers the most comprehensive analysis of Laetrile and the pioneers who sacrificed everything to prove its effectiveness against a headwind of resistance by the monopolistic big pharma and the FDA who protect a trillion dollar a year cancer industry.

There are several pieces of evidence to support the idea that amygdalin can exert anticancer effects against lung, breast, prostate, colorectal, cervical, and gastrointestinal cancer by inducing apoptosis (killing damaged cells) of cancer cells, inhibiting cancer cells’ proliferation and slowing down tumor metastatic spread. However, only a few formal studies have been performed in in-vivo animal models, while clinical studies remain even more scarce.  Much of the information is from clinical applications by physicians who felt powerless with conventional treatments and tried it as a last resort and found profound success in reducing tumors and arresting cancer.
